Pure Salmon Campaign to host Paris debut film screening at Seafood Summit

PARIS – On Monday, February 1 at 10:30 a.m. CET at the Paris Marriot Rive Gauche Hotel & Conference Center, the Pure Salmon Campaign will host a film screening to show how Norwegian salmon farming operations in British Columbia and Chile threaten iconic wildlife and the marine environment. Speakers at the Seafood Summit event will discuss current problems affecting the global farmed salmon industry and will propose more sustainable solutions.

“Farmed Salmon Exposed: The Global Reach of the Norwegian Salmon Farming Industry” reveals the pervasive nature of the issues plaguing salmon aquaculture and features testimonials by witnesses discussing the environmental and socio-economic damage caused by poorly managed salmon farms.
